The STAR: A 433-Foot Long, 200-Foot High Superyacht With 37,700-Square-Feet of Interior Space!

The STAR is an incredibly unique superyacht concept recently unveiled by the BMT Group.

With the help of industrial designer Igor Lobanov, BMT has created a superyacht concept that would measure 433-feet long and approximately 200 feet high.

Lobanov in particular wanted to create an innovative yacht design, different from every other superyacht on the market.

“Outside the marine industry, all yachts look the same: it seems that modern architecture, product design and car design have no influence on yachts,” said Lobanov in a statement.

The STAR is technically a superyacht but is being marketed as a hotel as well because of the many luxuries it offers.

With 37,700-square-feet of interior space, eight decks, four elevators, a helipad and a daytime capacity of 200 guests, I can see why the STAR costs $500 million.

The only thing that has me scratching my head about the star is why is it not star-shaped? We may never know…
