Regio Design XXL Chopper is the World’s Largest Motorcycle

This gargantuan motorcycle, ‘Regio Design XXL Chopper,’ is the world’s largest motorcycle. Guinness World Records declared it to be the World’s Largest Functioning Motorcycle after it successfully completed a required 100 meter test ride.

It was first introduced at the Motorbike Expo 2012, where people were stunned to see this 32 foot-long and 16 foot-high mammoth motorcycle. The Regio Design XXL Chopper broke the record of the Monster Cycle built by Gregory Dunham of California. Monster Cycle was a mere 6 meters long and weighed only 1.35 tons.

Powered by a 5000cc, 5.7 liter V8 Chevrolet engine that produces maximum power of 280 hp, Regio Design XXL Chopper weighs almost 5.5 tons.

Also known as Big Bike, the chopper is fitted with a three-speed transmission gearbox. Since it is impossible to balance this gigantic motorcycle on two wheels, it has a set of training wheels on the sides just like on a child’s bicycle.

The Regio Design team took nearly seven months to complete this magnificent chopper.
