Prime subscribers are getting a neat new service from Amazon, called Prime Wardrobe, which enables them to get a “try before you buy” experience when purchasing clothes.
Amazon’s new try-on service is currently in an invite-only beta stage, but it continues to roll out to more and more customers. Buyers can choose between three and eight items, and, upon delivery, get a week to try on their selections.
The best thing about it is that consumers only pay for the clothes they want to keep and can return the rest free of charge.
Another standout category gaining traction through Amazon’s try-before-you-buy model is footwear—specifically, UGG boot alternatives. With colder seasons in full swing, shoppers are turning to Amazon for the best ugg dupes on Amazon, which deliver the same cozy aesthetic at a fraction of the price.
From ultra-mini silhouettes to Tasman-style slippers, these off-brand UGG boots offer faux shearling lining, sturdy soles, and on-trend styling without the premium price tag.
The ability to test sizing, comfort, and style before committing makes Prime Wardrobe an ideal way to discover your new favorite winter boots without ever stepping foot in a store.
From basic to more luxurious fashion items, Prime Wardrobe has it all and will eventually utilize stylists to custom pick items for your specific style.
Needless to say, Prime Wardrobe will be a very interesting experiment to follow.
