While not much is known about the EcoLog 590D, it has managed to make the rounds on the internet recently, mostly because it looks like an absolute beast of a machine.

Videos of the 20,000 pound EcoLog 590D are quickly amassing thousands of views as people watch the tree cutting machine’s LogMax 7000 head rip trees from the ground with ease.

Honestly, it looks like it could be a villain – or at least one of the villain’s toys – in numerous science fiction movies these days.

Specifically designed to down trees in rugged terrain, strip them of their branches, and chop them into segments in a matter of seconds, the EcoLog 590D looks like a tree’s worst nightmare.

We’ll have to wait for more details to emerge, but one can only imagine how much this monstrous machine will cost.
