Max Bracken, Marketing Manager for a company named Bracken Foam Fabricators, an Irish manufacturer of high-quality foam products, recently put together an interesting infographic regarding the world’s largest construction projects.
He says he was fascinated by some of the more luxurious projects, including Dubailand and the Yas Island Complex (which will even have a race track), as well as vital infrastructure such as the South Valley Development in Egypt and the South-North Water Transfer in China.
Bracken came across one particularly interesting fact about the latter – if you walked the longitude of each of the canals in this project, it would be the same as walking the north-south extremes of Ireland twice!
