Scenic World Record Slackline Walk in the Utah Desert is Utterly Mesmerizing

On November 15, 2015, Théo Sanson walked nearly 500 meters, or 1,640 feet, on a slackline rigged from The Rectory to Castleton Tower in Castle Valley, Utah – a new world-record slackline walk.

What many people don’t realize is the fact that rigging the line is perhaps as impressive a feat as walking the slackline itself.

The Utah desert provides such a beautiful, scenic backdrop to the record that it’s honestly difficult to keep your eyes on Sanson throughout the video.

Such a badass feat definitely deserves a video that’s just as awesome…
