It’s 2016, and 3D printing still hasn’t taken over the world.

BUT, that doesn’t mean it isn’t helping solve today’s tiny problems such as what in the world to do with the new Apple Airpods?

Because let’s be honest – the airpods are just asking to be lost with their small size and the fact they’re wireless make them even tougher to keep up with.

Compact 3D printer maker, M3D, printed earrings which are essentially small baskets designed to stow or catch the new Apple Airpods should they fall out of your ears.

Deemed the M3D Twisty Earbud Catchers, one can’t simply buy them; rather one would have to send the design files to a 3D printing service or print them yourself.

The files can be downloaded for free here.

I’m not sure how practical these puppies are, but I do know I wouldn’t want to chance losing $160 Apple Airpods. Also, by the time you purchase the M3D Twisty Earbud Catchers, I’m sure Apple will have developed the Apple Airpods 2.0 that take new earring basket things to catch them anyway.
