In the world of gizmos and gadgets dominated by Apple products, Microsoft just dropped a bomb with its new hologram technology, the HoloLens.

The HoloLens is an innovative headset. This headset allows the user to see and interact with 3-D holograms in real life. So far this type of mind-blowing technology can be seen only in movies.

Just Put It on and Experience a Whole New World

Powered by Windows 10, the HoloLens headset is lightweight and free of wires. The holographic computer built into this headset allows you to interact with holograms in your living room, kitchen or office. You can interact with the 3-D models of your work projects, video chat with hologram versions of your contacts and even watch live content.

HoloLens uses high-definition lenses, sensors and spatial sound technology to create an amazing interactive holographic experience.

Microsoft has worked closely with NASA to help bring this innovative headset to life. NASA could potentially use the HoloLens to control the Mars rover Curiosity.

HoloLens would be available around the same time as the Windows 10 consumer release, which is expected later this year.
