Hershey’s and 3D Systems have teamed up in order to create a chocolate 3D printer with the main goal being to open a 3D Chocolate Candy Printing exhibit at Hershey’s Chocolate World in Hershey, PA.
Visitors of the 3D Chocolate Candy Printing exhibit will be able to print and purchase their own chocolate when they visit Hershey, PA.
Hershey Co.’s chief research and development officer, Will Papa said in a news release, “This exhibit is a great example of co-creation with consumers. They will be instrumental in shaping the future of commercially available 3-D chocolate printing.”

The exhibit opens to the public today, the latest innovative idea in the 3D printing industry which is currently on pace to become a $13 billion dollar industry.
