British luxury brand Aston Martin is partnering with Simonetta, a leading Italian children’s fashion designer. The strategic licensing agreement covers the design, production, and distribution of a new Aston Martin children’s collection.

Aston Martin selected Simonetta as the perfect partner for the new collection as the Italian company is well known for its sophisticated and stylish collections, and both brands share the core principles of innovation, quality, and design.

The first collection from the new collaboration debuted at Pitti Bimbo 83, which is the point of reference and one of the most important international trade fairs for children and youth fashion. The show ran from June 23-25, 2016 in Florence, Italy and saw many renowned designers and manufacturers present their latest collections. The Aston Martin Spring Summer 2017 collection, complete with accessories and shoes, has been designed for infants from 3-24 months and boys 2-16 years of age.

The collaboration between Aston Martin and Simonetta will see multiple new collections developed annually for worldwide distribution across a range of luxury retail locations.

Katia Bassi, VP of Aston Martin and Managing Director of AM Brands said: “We are delighted to have found a partner in Simonetta that allows us to extend the Aston Martin marque to the children of our clients and admirers of the brand. This further extension of the Art of Living by Aston Martin portfolio brings the brand’s sartorial style to our future customers.”

Roberto Stronati, President of Simonetta, concludes: “I’m a huge fan of sports cars and having signed a licensing agreement with the legendary carmaker Aston Martin fills me with pride and satisfaction. With this new step, the Simonetta Group adds an additional luxury brand to its already prestigious portfolio.”
