Take a Sneak Peek at Google’s First Chrome OS Desktop

By: | December 24th, 2013

The “Chromebase” from LG will be Google’s first ever desktop computer. It has a 21.5 inch HD display, a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera for video chats, 16 GB of storage and runs Google’s Chrome OS.

You won’t be able to enjoy all the apps accessible with Macs or other regular PCs but the Chromebase should be a much cheaper alternative which is capable of doing any basic task you would want from a computer.

Those of you tired of ponying up money for Windows OS and support might find the Chromebase to be a useful and more cost efficient desktop, expected to be released in early 2014.
