Samsung is currently testing the company’s new prototype Safety Truck, which utilizes a wireless camera on the front to transmit live video to the back of the big rig.

As a result, drivers behind big trucks can literally watch on a screen what is going on in front of the truck, almost as if it is transparent.

At the moment, Samsung is working to obtain regulatory approval for the deployment of its Safety Truck, which could potentially prevent a lot of accidents.

Obviously, many accidents take place when trailing drivers attempt to blindly pass big rigs, so this new idea could greatly improve safety for all parties involved.

However, because installing four displays on every single truck Samsung owns could get expensive, Vehicle-to-Vehicle Communication (V2V) systems looks like a more viable option.

If they could afford it in the long run, my vote is for transparent big rigs!
