Robots Use Wi-Fi and Teamwork to See Through Walls

Researchers at University of California, Santa Barbara, have discovered out a way to use Wi-Fi in conjunction with robots to see through walls.

Essentially, X-ray vision!

How it works?

Seeing through walls takes two autonomous robots linked to the same Wi-Fi network, with one looking at the wall and one robot going behind the wall in order to send enough data to the robot attempting to look through the barrier that it can create a two-dimensional picture of what it’s looking at.

In the video below, the robots work together in order to see through a wall of bricks.
