Parents and human society seek to instill a code of ethics in children so that when they grow up they use their intelligence to do good rather than bad. The risks and rewards of artificial intelligence are so great that scientists and engineers are hemming and hawing about how a system of ethics can be built into AI. Almost certainly there is a lot of hype about robot technology, but as the applications become more and more complex and integral to humans and human society, the dangers become great.

The recent death of a Tesla driver, the first death of a person allegedly due to an AI technology, illustrates the seriousness, risks, and rewards.

The following video explains the threat robots and AI might present to the human race.
