New Rubber by US Scientists Is 10x Tougher, Resists Cracking 4x Better

A team of scientists in the United States created a new kind of rubber that’s much stronger and longer-lasting than the rubber we use today. The new material is 10 times tougher and resists cracking four times better, especially when stretched or used repeatedly.

What Makes This Rubber Different?

Instead of following the usual methods that weaken rubber over time, the scientists changed how they made it. They preserved the rubber’s natural strength by keeping it long and stretchy, and they added just the right amount of support. This design helps the rubber handle stress better without breaking or wearing out.
