No Need For Braille? New Finger-Ring Technology Is a Major Advancement For The Blind!

By: | October 10th, 2014

Thanks to MIT, a huge advancement in technology for the blind could be hitting the market soon called the FingerReader, eliminating the need to learn braille.

The ring utilizes a camera which then relays data to the software that can both identify and speak words aloud as the reader follows along.

Not only does this technology significantly help the blind, but also those who simply struggle with vision, as the ring will literally buzz should your finger stray too far away from the line you are reading.
