Hubble Space Telescope

One of our favorite photographer’s of space, the Hubble Space Telescope, has just had its contract extended by NASA.

The announcement by NASA will see the Hubble Space Telescope fly for five more years, until June 30, 2021, in a move that will ultimately cost $200 million.

Interesting enough, the more powerful James Webb Space Telescope is set to launch in 2018, meaning that the two will overlap for a few years which is great news for lovers of space.
