The Muji wood house in Okazaki is a model showcasing the benefits of a box-shaped residence.

Featuring a floor-to-ceiling atrium, the Muji wood house promotes comfort, ventilation, temperature, and light.

As one can see from the images below, the wood house almost gives off the vibe off being outdoors thanks to all the windows and ambient light.

The entire idea behind the house is to encourage inhabitants to ‘live freely’ so the porches on both levels of the house should certainly help homeowners answer the call.
