Limited Edition Ferrari Sergio Is a Tribute To One Of The World’s Most Renowned Car Designers

By: | December 30th, 2014

To celebrate its 60 years of collaboration with Italian design house Pininfarina, Ferrari has built the awesome Sergio convertible.  The Italian design house Pininfarina has styled the majority of Ferrari’s legendary road cars.

The Sergio was named after Pininfarina’s longstanding chairman, Sergio Pininfarina, who began the longstanding partnership with Ferrari many years ago.

The Ferrari Sergio is a V8 convertible and the 458 spider retains most of its technological and functional aspects. An exclusive special A variant engine ensures power of 605bhp – 35bhp more than standard.  The powerful engine translates to a rapid 0-62 mph in three seconds flat.

Only six Sergios are planned to be made though each of them will be different with clients personalizing their individual cars. The first Sergio was delivered to its owner in Abu Dhabi this month.

If you plan to buy one of the Ferrari Sergios, you may be disappointed as the remaining five models have already been sold.

The price of each car is estimated to be a substantial $3 million.
