A Ukrainian company founded in 2014, Kwambio, has become a well-known by additive manufacturer providing personalized and customized on-demand products made of ceramics and metals. The company is most well-known for its new porcelain 3D printing capabilities which allow it to make dishwasher and oven safe housewares and decorative pieces. The company uses its own in-house ceramic powder in 80 colors.

What makes Kwambio’s approach unique is its team of designers who help customers develop ideas or early-stage projects into compelling products. According to CEO and co-founder, Vlad Usov, the company’s goal is providing the highest quality products at affordable prices.

While most 3D printing companies create products they sell online, requiring storage space, an inventory system, and personnel, Kwambio creates and customizes products in real-time at their own facilities and 3D product manufacturing companies globally. This cuts down on the number of machines the company needs in-house to fulfill customer needs.

Following is a demonstration of the Kwambio process.
