Just like Google, Ecosia is a search engine but with a great cause. It works just like any other search engine, but Ecosia donates more than 80% of its profits from ad revenue to planting trees. Therefore, it is described as the ‘world’s greenest search engine.

By searching on Ecosia, you can help the environment for free!

It is such a good feeling to help the environment while surfing the web! There are already about 2.5 million monthly active Ecosia users. If everyone switches to Ecosia, this number could be much bigger.

Ecosia has already planted more than 4 million trees around the world, most recently in Burkina Faso in Africa. Their goal is to plant 1 billion trees by the year 2020.

Not only that, Ecosia has generated over 2.5 million Euros for forestry programs since its founding in December 2009.

To keep everything fair, Ecosia publishes proof every month of the work that users and Ecosia are doing.

Add Ecosia to your browser and start planting trees right away!
