Residents of Austin, Texas and Mountain View, California have had time to check out Google small autonomous cars ever since the tech giant deployed the vehicles on public roads in the two cities this past summer.

Ever since the cars made their debut, Google has been running a “Paint the Town” design contest, aimed at local artists, to encourage new paint job ideas for the cars’ doors.

Google just announced the Mountain View contest winners here, if you want to check out all of the winning designs.

Each contest has its own unique theme, with Mountain View’s encompassing “my community, my neighbors.”

Google is providing each winning artist a $500 gift card, in addition to a ride in one of the autonomous cars.

If I were one of the winners, I might just graciously accept the gift card and wait until Google’s self-driving technology is flawless before trusting one of these tiny vehicles with my life.
