As Coronavirus Explodes in China, countries around the world are struggling to control its spread.

Death toll is climbing, and so does the number of infections. To limit the exposure of medical staff to virus, the U.S is using a robot to treat patients with Coronavirus. The robot is even equipped with a stethoscope. It takes the man’s vitals and communicates with the doctors through a screen.

Dr. George Diaz, chief of the infectious disease division, said, “The nursing staff in the room move the robot around so we can see the patient in the screen, talk to him,”.

Worldwide scientists are working to stop it from becoming a global epidemic

Travelers coming from Wuhan are being screened. Dr. Robert Redfield, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said, “Right now, there is no spread of this virus in our communities at home,” “The coming days and weeks are likely to bring more cases including the possibility of person-to-person spread,”

He added, “Our goal is to contain this virus and prevent sustained spread of the virus in our country.”

To help with research and containment, teams of international experts, coordinated by the World Health Organization are heading for China.
