Domino’s successfully completed its first commercial pizza drone delivery on Wednesday with the help of UAV delivery service Flirtey.

The delivery itself was comprised of two cheese pizzas for a customer in Whangaparaoa, New Zealand, marketing the beginning of an unprecedented era of laziness worldwide.

We can’t even be bothered to either run and grab the pizza ourselves or talk to a delivery man or woman at the door anymore.

But hey, times are changing.

“We invested in this partnership, and technology, because we believe drone delivery will be an essential component of our pizza deliveries, so even more customers can receive the freshest, hottest pizza we can offer,” said Domino’s Group CEO Don Meij in a statement. “I am proud of this partnership that has not only delivered this momentous event, but is leading the world for this important technology.”

Residents within 1.5 kilometers of the local Whangaparaoa Domino’s store are the only people getting to experience the company’s pilot program at the moment, so here’s to them.

Have a pizza drone delivery for me, friends!
