Explore the Inside of a Glacier Like Never Before Thanks to This Drone’s Footage

Exploring the inside of a glacier as a human is, to put it lightly, a bad idea.

So many things can go wrong, like I don’t know, shifting ice crushing you or falling into a massive crevasse.

That’s why Flyability’s new YouTube video is so neat because it lets us explore the inside of a glacier through the eyes of the company’s Gimball drone.

A specially-designed wire cage built around the drone enable it to maneuver easily within the glacier, bouncing and rotating around different obstacles it encounters.

However, you might want to sharpen up on your drone flying skills before you attempt a similar feat.

The Gimball is a $25,000 beast of a drone that I’m sure the company wanted to make sure got out of the inside of the glacier in the same condition it was before it was sent in.
