Wall Street analysts expected Delta Airlines to end the the third quarter with a quarterly profit of $1.18 per share but the airline company has surpasses expectations with a quarterly profit of $1.18.
Third quarter operating revenue for Delta Airlines rose to $11.18 billion, up 6.6 percent, while over quarterly profit fell 74 percent to $357 million, largely attributed to an increase in operating expenses.
It is worth noting that traffic increased 3.7 percent.
