Architect Eric Parry will be spearheading the 1 Undershaft project, set to become the tallest building in the City of London at 309.6 meters in height.

The next tallest building in the borough is 122 Leadenhall, commonly known as the Cheesegrater, which is 80 meters shorter than 1 Undershaft.

1 Undershaft will be 73 stories and is expected to hold 10,000 workers across 90,000 square meters of office space.

The design of 1 Undershaft is essentially a rectangular column, and the structure becomes a bit more slender as it rises into the sky. It will also feature a large public shopping and restaurant area directly beneath it.
