Mobile Wallets Will Make Life Easier

Mobile wallets will allow you to pay for products and services using your smartphone, eliminating the need for credit cards, cash, and plastic membership cards.

Recent news on smartphone payment systems includes the breach of Samsung Pay and less than impressive reports on the rollout of Apple Pay. Credit Apple for building an ecosystem for mobile wallets that has created a new payment solution, security mechanisms, and technology, but US foot-dragging is exasperating. In addition, the current state of US cybersecurity, with the Director of the CIA, John Brennan, being hacked by teenagers, Americans don’t feel confident opening their bank accounts to yet another line of hack attacks.

The Japanese Have Had Mobile Wallets for 11 Years

It should be mentioned too that Americans live in a kind of time warp, where ignorance is bliss, believing the US leads in all categories of technology when in fact Japan has had mobile wallet technology for the past 11 years!

Smartphone industry watchers believe that by 2018 most people in the United States will be using mobile wallets. Stay tuned for more on the technology we will be using!
