The Slow Mo Guys have done it again, as it relates to creating quite a stir on the internet.
This time, they simply strapped a compact disk to a vacuum cleaner motor and spun it up to 23,000 RPM, where the CD shattered.
Luckily, being THE Slow Mo Guys, we can watch the disc exploding over and over at 170,000 FPS!
I’m not sure if I ever had the desire to basically watch a CD disintegrate in front of my eyes, but after watching in slow motion, I’m glad these fellas came up with the idea.
