Toshiba Recalls Over 100,000 Panasonic Battery Packs That Are Melting Laptops

Bad news for Toshiba laptop owners…

Toshiba has recalled over 100,000 Panasonic battery packs after they continue to overheat and literally melt people’s computers.

The batteries in question, lithium-ion Panasonic battery packs, were reportedly sold with 39 models of the Toshiba Portege, Satellite, and Tecra laptops.

If your battery pack matched the number in the image above, instructions on how to remove the battery and eliminate the issue immediately can be found here.

Toshiba will replace all faulty Panasonic battery packs here.
