By: | September 22nd, 2014

While wearables seem to be growing overall, Google Glass hasn’t exactly been the major breakthrough product the company was expecting.

Sony recognized an opportunity to rival Google in the wearable glasses technology department and as a result created the SmartEyeglass, which aims to have more features and look more attractive than Google Glass.

SmartEyeglass Features:

  • Gyroscope
  • Accelerometer
  • Electronic Compass
  • Ambient Light Sensor
  • 3-Megapixel Camera
  • External Battery Pack
  • Extra Touch Sensor
  • Microphone

SmartEyeglass will be compatible with Android devices in order to provide the user with notification and essentially sync all the data and information from both devices.
