Rodgers Townsend’s new documentary, The Art of Sound, shows off the incredible attention to detail Tom Bills adheres to when making his guitars.
As someone with essential tremor, it makes me nervous just watching the video as Bills is able to stay painstakingly calm, still, and consistent with his carvings.
I respect the craftsmanship that goes into the musical instruments just as much as the art of the music itself, and this short documentary only adds to that notion.
