Ready for Your Close-Up? Robot Photographer Captures the Human Face in 900 Million Pixels

By: | April 22nd, 2014

Swiss photographer Daniel Boschung has been using an ABB industrial robot with a Canon EOS Mark II camera attached and a 100mm macro lens in order to photograph human faces and the results have been stunningly revealing.

The pictures are insanely high quality to the point where it is almost eerie to study the faces of the subjects he photographed.

Boschung took hundreds of single shots of each person, which then went into the final images, resulting in beautiful 900 million pixel photos.
