When I think of a converted church home, I immediately envision some old, run-down church that someone has made viable.
However, in Chicago, a converted church home designed by Linc Thelen Design and Scrafano Architects looks more like a mansion, with a modern design, and some really neat bells and whistles.
For starters, the hybrid church home has an indoor rock climbing wall that could easily be the selling point for me, in addition to seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, and 25-foot ceilings.
Not too shabby, eh?
If this is a sign of things to come, I’m looking forward to more old churches being renovated into eye-popping houses.
