Gorgeous Lotus C-01 bike is a unique combination of state-of-the-art technology with a truly jaw-dropping aesthetic

Sci-fi flick fans will recall the famous light cycle from the film Tron. Now, legendary British car company Lotus has unveiled the plan to build a Lotus C-01 motorcycle in partnership with bike designer Daniel Simon, who also designed the light cycles for the 2010 sequel Tron Legacy.
Spectacular specifications

The motorcycle will be developed by Germany’s Kodewa Performance Motorcycles under a license from Lotus. A Lotus C-01 prototype with a 200-horsepower engine has already been tested. It incorporates carbon fiber, titanium and aerospace-quality steel into its frame. Only 100 production bikes will be produced with an astounding price of around $140,000 each with the following specs:

  • 2-cylinder 4-stroke engine
  • 6-gear transmission
  • Fuel tank: 10.5l
  • 1,195cc
  • 200 HP

With aggressive power and breathtaking handling, the Lotus C-01 has other distinctive features like a clean main body, an extremely low side profile, a bold stance, a unique air intake and clean graphics.

Just 100 of the bikes will be made in a range of special designs but a few lucky customers will even have the option of designing their own color scheme.
