A Chinese plant, known by the truly bizarre name of ‘thunder god vine’ or lei gong teng, has been used for ages in traditional Chinese medicine for treatment of a number of medical conditions.
Now, new research at the University of Minnesota’s Masonic Cancer Center has revealed that this wonder plant wiped out pancreatic tumors in mice, and there were no signs of tumors even after a 40-day period when the treatment was discontinued.
Even the researchers working on the project were surprised by the cancer-fighting capabilities of this compound.
The plant has substances that are extremely safe compared to costly and harmful cancer drugs. Although this plant is cheap, big pharma juggernauts will have no interest in investing in those plants since they will not be able to make any money off the thunder god vine by patenting nature.
