By: | November 25th, 2014

Not many people know that actor Keanu Reeves is a passionate motorcyclist. Together with chopper expert Gard Hollinger, he has started a company named Arch Motorcycle, which just released its first bike: KRGT-1.

This retro-modern, S&S-powered, 2032cc V-Twin motorcycle is a perfect balance of performance and design.

Each bike requires over 300 machine hours using state-of-the-art CNC and water jet machinery. The chopper-inspired sports bike has over 200 parts that are manufactured exclusively at the Arch’s Los Angeles production facility. The company procured other proprietary parts from premium vendors who are known for the highest standards.

  • The KRGT-1 weighs a good 538 pounds which is heavy for a sports bike.
  • The KRGT-1 pumps out 122Nm of torque from its 2, 032cc v-twin engine.
  • The KRGT-1 kicks out 121.52 horsepower and 121.77 torque at the rear wheel.
  • Fuel capacity is five gallons and estimated range is between 185 and 210 miles.

KRGT-1 will be built to order with a price tag of US$78,000. Production will be limited, making ownership of a KRGT-1 a coveted experience. Those interested in getting their hands on one of these unique machines need to shell out a $12,000 reservation deposit.
