Jumping From The Top Of The World’s Tallest Building… A New BASE Jump World Record!

If you’re scared of heights, the view from the top of the 2,717-feet tall Burj Khalifa skyscraper in Dubai might be a bit intimidating.

The Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world and while people have jumped from the skyscraper before, no one had ever attempted to jump from the very top until a few days ago.

This is where BASE jumpers and badass daredevils, Fred Fugen and Vince Reffet enter the picture, breaking the world record for the highest BASE jump earlier this week by leaping from the top of the Burj Khalifa.

Sponsored by the skydiving resort Skydive Dubai, a tiny platform was built at the top of the massive skyscraper for the two gentlemen to make their incredible jump.
