Japanese Electric CARtoon Ad for the Nissan Leaf is Kind of Bizarre

Automakers continue to make wild ads and marketing campaigns, with the latest coming from Nissan called The Electric CARtoon.

The ad shows drivers at a Japanese driving school wearing headgear that apparently projects their emotional state onto the street as they drive.

If it sounds like an odd concept, I’m right there with your line of thinking.

Nissan’s explanation makes a bit more sense…

Nissan’s Description:

To commemorate the 5th anniversary of the 100% electric Nissan Leaf, Nissan produced a special version that allows people to “see” what the driver is thinking and feeling, using brainwaves that are immediately converted and projected into words and visuals on the road.
