Our hectic daily routines have turned us into machines. Most of us want to escape from the busy routine and spend some time with nature. When we are with nature, we feel relaxed, happier, and we feel more alive. Nature is like fuel for our soul.
Architects Studio Dror released a master plan for an amazing park in a “city with no Central Park” — Istanbul, Turkey. Dror described his park as “a love story between people and nature in a city with no central park.”
This “Parkorman” Park will give you a chance to swing through the forest…you not only will enjoy looking up at the woods from the ground but will also be able to feel the leaves and the freshness through the branches.
“Parkorman” Park promises an awesome experience…exploring hidden pathways into the treetops, swinging on hammocks, and bouncing on giant trampolines.
The park will have five zones, each having their own distinct qualities. The Plaza presents nature at its best. In the Loop, there are swings and hammocks which sway above the forest bed. The pool features giant ball pits, inspired by Turkish spice markets. The Chords features a footpath that twists around tree trunks into giant loops with trampolines at the center. To encourage exploration, there is a maze-like trail surrounded by sculptures called The Grove, while “The Fountain of Clarity,” a cube-shaped structure sends water down on all four sides and allows the structure to envelop visitors in a watery room.
This astonishing park will let you experience a forest, architecture, and an environment at a single place.
