Your Hotel Suite is Ready to Board

Ask anyone who flies regularly, especially long haul flights, and they’ll tell you that getting comfortable in your seat for the journey can sometimes be impossible. Not all of us can go business class but in Costa Rica, one hotel has taken getting comfortable on a plane to new levels.

The Costa Verde hotel’s Fuselage suite is a refurbished 1965 Boeing 727 aircraft. The inside has been renovated to include two bedrooms with a wood finish to create an indoor log cabin feel but step outside and it’s a completely different vibe with the plane’s imposing size. The view from the wings also give visitors a stunning view of the landscape and ocean.

The once-wrecked aircraft has been given a totally new lease of life. Check out this gallery of images that detailed the rescue and refurbishment of the plane into a luxury hotel suite.
