This Grass Covered Hobbit Home Could Be Assembled in Just 3 Days

Round windows and front door, earth walls, and roof with grass covering…now this is how a real hobbit home would look like!

Hobbit homes have become a reality, thanks to a Florida-based company called Green Magic Homes.

The company is fabricating these eco-friendly and energy-efficient homes using prefabricated panels that are then joined together. These prefabricated panels generate multiple possibilities of spaces, access, lighting, ventilation, and connection. The panels are made of fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) materials.

The whole structure can be put together in just three days, with no special skills or heavy equipment.

Once the tiny home is joined together, it is covered with soil, creating a green roof that provides excellent insulation against heat in the summer and cold in the winter.

The Hobbit homes even have all the amenities of a conventional home.
