We now have our first images and a virtual tour video of the interior of SpaceX’s astronaut-carrying spacecraft.

The images provide us with an idea of what the Crew Dragon capsule will look like when it’s finished. It will be used solely to carry astronauts to and from the International Space Station.

Some of the Crew Dragon’s features at first glance:

  • 7 seats for crew
  • Made of carbon fiber and Alcantara cloth
  • Video displays in front of the seats
  • Adjustable environmental control system
  • Four windows in the spacecraft’s walls
