The New Domino’s DXP Delivery Car Has Its Own Built-In Warming Oven

By: | October 31st, 2015

Domino’s was the first of its kind to use HeatWave delivery bags back in the day, pretty much the most innovation we’ve seen in pizza delivery in the past 20 years.

Now, the pizza giant is attempting to push the envelope a bit more when it comes to delivering your food through the use of a fleet of modified pizza delivery cars.

These cars, called Domino’s DXP’s, are Chevy Sparks with modifications specifically to do things like keep your pizza hot, hold your ranch dressing in a stable place, and make sure your bread sticks make it to your home unscathed.

The Domino’s DXP legitimately includes its own built-in warming oven for your food.

Seems like a bit much for a mediocre-tasting pizza chain to go all out on delivery cars, but Domino’s is showing no signs of slowing production anytime soon, already deploying 97 of these bad boys on the road.
