The Buick Avista recently debuted at the North American International Auto Show to much fanfare, and understandably so seeing as how sleek and good looking the car is.

Powered by a 400-horsepower twin-turbo V-6, the 2+2 coupe is a sight for sore eyes and may very well be the most gorgeous car we’ve seen from Buick in years.

However, there is one major problem.

The Buick Avista isn’t exactly a real car quite yet…

Everything points to the Buick Avista eventually making it to the production line, but we’ve seen crazier things happen and other awesome designs not come to fruition.

Personally, I feel it’d be a huge mistake by Buick to not start producing the Avista sooner than later, and luckily the prototype doesn’t really include any outrageous technologies the company would have to eliminate from the real version.

Now, we wait.
