Brew Up Draft-Quality Beer at Home in Your Own Keurig-Like Machine

By: | October 24th, 2014

Marc Newson teamed up with Heineken and Krups in order to develop a beer machine called The Sub, which functions almost like a Keurig for beer.

Instead of little coffee canisters, capsules called “torps” can be purchased for The Sub that when placed into the machine create draft beer at home.

In an interview with Dezeen, Newson called the invention “a kind of revolutionary shift in terms of this particular product.”

The Sub is set to go on sale to the public in the UK in 2015 for €249.
