Airbus Unveils Transparent Plane Of The Future For An Incredible In-Flight Experience

By: | November 19th, 2014

The planes of the future will probably have massage seats, feature attendants serving drinks and vitamins, and have panoramic windows providing some of the most amazing views on earth.

Airbus recently unveiled its futuristic vision for flying in 2050. The company’s planes of the future will have seats capable of taking your body shape and collecting body heat in order to power in-cabin features.

The transparent cabin of the Airbus concept plane will offer a 360 degree panoramic view.

Passengers will be able to see everything outside the bird’s strike resistant dimmable glass. In addition, the intelligent cabin walls will control air temperature, humidity, and have dirt repellent coating.

The cabin’s bionic structure is inspired by the super lightweight bone structure of  birds,  keeping them light but strong. The plane could essentially be made from a 3D printed, largely hollow titanium based material. It is worth noting that dizzy passengers can shut out the panoramic views by turning their sitting area opaque.

The passengers may also be able to enjoy a spa, fully stocked bar and electronic games such as virtual golf and tennis in the future.

Airbus’s futuristic concept plane is certainly packed with enough amenities for a seamless travel experience.
