CENTR Camera is a small startup consisting of former Apple engineers who have created an incredible new camera by utilizing smartphone features and a unique design to capture everything going on around us.
Through smartphone hardware and imaging software, CENTR camera was designed to capture a 360 degree perspective in the form of a picture or video.
CENTR features four 5-megapixel cameras in order to capture amazing videos like the one below:
CENTR Cameras was formed in 2011 and has already worked with National Geographic, Fox Sports, and the US Army.
With a successful Kickstarter campaign in the books, the company hopes to have a wonderful response to their product from the general public.
The consumer model is rumored to be priced at $399 which isn’t bad at all considering this unique technology and intriguing capabilities of the camera.
