At the time, BMW worked with Puma to create the special fabric that would wrap around the vehicle, and although nothing ever came to fruition as far as the concept car, a new shoe from Puma has emerged citing the BMW GINA as its inspiration.

The BMW X-CAT DISC shoes lace similar to snowboard boots with the dial on the tongue to loosen and tighten the sneakers.

And of course, the shoes look extremely similar to the BMW GINA concept. If you are interested in purchasing these unique, futuristic looking shoes, be sure to visit Puma’s online store.
